Vote With Divvy

November 6th, take a free ride to your polling location with Divvy!

Lack of transportation options has been shown to be a major barrier to voting nationwide and in the primary election in March, Chicago’s voter turnout was only 30.29%* of its registered voters. We’re going to help change that by offering free Divvy rides on Election Day 2018 to get you to your polling location.

Our effort aims to provide Chicagoans who live near one of Divvy’s nearly 600 bike share stations with a no-cost, quick, and convenient way to get to the polls. On November 6th, riders can unlock an Explorer Pass for free, valid for unlimited 3-hour trips in a 24-hour period, using the code VOTE18 in the Divvy app or at a bike share station kiosk.

Learn more about the free ride day and voting in Chicago by visiting divvybikes.com/vote, where we are also providing non-partisan voting information and a poll site look up through BallotReady, a tool that helps educate voters about candidates and elections.
