The Chicago Department of Transportation (CDOT) aims to offer all Chicagoans an affordable, accessible and fun transportation option. D4E provides a one-time $5 Annual Membership to qualifying residents. The program also incorporates a cash payment system for those Chicagoans who do not have a debit card, credit card, or prepaid card required for a standard Divvy membership.
D4E is available to Chicago residents aged 16 and older receiving SNAP, WIC, LIHEAP, or public housing assistance.
For in person sign ups only, you can also show proof of annual household income at or below 300% of the Federal Poverty Level. Use the chart below to determine if you qualify for a one-time D4E $5 membership.

You can also sign up at any of the Divvy Sign Up Centers listed here and shown on the map below. Bring a State-issued ID and proof of WIC, SNAP, LIHEAP, Medicaid, Public housing or paycheck stub if employed. Enrollment hours are subject to change – call ahead before visiting a center.
